  • USEFUL CAPACITY OF THE CHAMBER: 48400 liters.

MIL STD 810G Method 510.5. PROCEDURE I – BLOWING DUST

  • TEMPERATURE RANGE: Tamb to +70ºC.
  • TEMPERATURE VARIATION RATE: <3ºC/min from 0°C to +70°C
  • RELATIVE HUMIDITY: <30%
  • DUST COMPOSITION:  Red China Clay or Silica Flour (140 mesh sieve).
  • DUST CONCENTRATION: 10.6± 7 g/m3 (0.3±0.2 g/ft3).
  • AIR VELOCITY: between 1.5 to 8.9 m/s.


MIL STD 810G Method 510.5. PROCEDURE II – BLOWING SAND

  • TEMPERATURE RANGE: Tamb to+70ºC.
  • TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATION (at steady conditions): ≤±1°C (in time)
  • RELATIVE HUMIDITY: ≤ 30%
  • SAND COMPOSITION: Silica Sand
  • SAND CONCENTRATION:  
    0.18 g/m3 -0.0/+0.2 g
    1.1±0.3 g/m3
    2.2±0.5 g/m3
  • AIR VELOCITY: between 18 and 29 m/s
