ACS and Frentech Aerospace: a long-term partnership in the testing activity sector has accompanied the brilliant evolution of the Czech company
From the production of aircraft parts and modules to the recent development in the aerospace field, with the design and manufacture of subsystems for satellites and other subsystems for Space industry, constituting 80% approx of Frentech turnover.
Established in 1994, Frentech Aerospace s.r.o. is a state-of-the-art Czech company focused on production of parts and assembled modules including testing mostly for aircraft and space industry. Beside this line of business Frentech also delivers its products for demanding fields such as instrument technology, microelectronics, nanotechnology and radar technique, production of special machines, medicine and vacuum devices.
The company is very well equipped with modern and productive CNC machines, an air-conditioned inspection room with three CMMs, Clean Room ISO8, ISO 7 with a Temperature test chamber and a Thermal Vacuum Chamber, a CMM machine and also ISO5 premises.
Recent developments are focused on design and manufacture of subsystem for satellites and other subsystems for Space industry. In this field the company cooperates with major integrators such as ESA, Thales Alenia Space, Airbus Defense and Space.
With increasing demands from Space industry related to the testing activities they have decided to invest into a new ACS Thermal Vacuum Chamber, mod. HVT4500-180150 GN2, enabling performance of bake-out with TQCM monitoring as well as testing of bigger-sized mechanisms.
The ACS company was chosen because the Temperature test chamber SU1000 T LN2 SP was already installed in the company with flawless performance during last 10 years and we also had a very good service support. Additionally, ACS offered a solution which was perfectly matching the requirements.
Declares Mr Pavel Sobotka, Managing Director of the company.
ACS chambers are used in Frentech Aerospace mainly for:
- functional testing of Space mechanisms in orbit conditions
- bake-out of hardware for Space use
- thermal cycling in vacuum and in ambient pressure
- thermal balance testing
